The simulation represents consciousness naturally mediated through artificial means. In order for this to occur consciousness must be able to be unaware of itself or its natural predicament and instead must need to confront some hyper-realm which provides comfort and stimulation, preferably creating the ability to mobilize consciousness where it returns to the middle of its own self-reflective capacity.
It naturally follows that this hyper-realm should be peopled by hyper-objects which includes characters and the setting itself.
If a charcater is believable she achieves promotion on the self-reflective plane to the point of four-dimensionality, once a charcater becomes stale, trite or unbelievable they collapse back through the 3D world into 2D confronational shapes or possibly as mere 3D impostures.
Here we come to the reason why the simulation in its grand format is the answer to consciousness as the 3D world is merely the 4D world in the above-mentioned semi-collapsed format.
The consumer or post-modern society is the default simulation for 99% of us who are incapable, have no motivation to create a world or more commonly have no effective medium to “short out” the matrix.
A simulation puts consciousness at its ease, like following a recipe we have made before but just like to “make sure”.
To fully embed itself within a simulation consciousness should have knowingly uprooted itself from a previous simulation which we can now term a scenario and by doing so can incrementally disengage from the matrix or the prime simulation.
